I thought it was an unremarkable performance. Perhaps he's too laid back.

"Oprah, Uma. Uma, Oprah" was the funniest part of his hosting. I love Dave but this just wasn't one of his better nights.

I dont't know why Dave gets a hard time about his one shot at the Oscars, I thought he did a great job.

Of course he is out of his element, it's not the same show he's been doing for decades. I say give him another chance. I thought he did an admirable job but not great.

The worst. I don't think he is funny

Dave got a raw deal.

A disappointment, he appeared uncomfortable and out of his element by leaving his own theatre. There were funny and candid moments but he basically did his show, right down to the top ten list. At least he got 10 years worth of jokes about his performance out of the experience.

the most underrated host of all time

Considering his long success in the talk show world and his ability to deliver such hilarious monologues you would have thought he would be a natural for this. But he came off uncomfortable and bland. Im glad his show is still running (though I rarely see it unless I cant sleep) but, I seriously doubt he will ever be doing this gig again.

I didn't see him; but from what I heard, it did not go well at all for him.
