Other than his lack of success in the World Series, he has made the Braves a force to be reckoned with over the last 15+ years. 14 straight division titles is unreal!

In my opinion that guy has two tendencies which he takes turns alternating between: undermanaging or overmanaging. Either he's sitting comatose in the dugout spectating the game, or he's micromanaging everything. The Jekyll/Hyde routine could be the reason his teams haven't won more championships. I think this guy is the most over-rated manager in baseball history. Almost anyone else on this list, allowed to manage the talent Cox has had, would have a fistful of series rings. Cox has one.

Whether fans like him or not, Bobby Cox has managed his teams to 14 consecutive division titles and that says a lot. Only 1 World Series championship but he has won the Manager of The Year award for 2004 and 2005. He will be in the Hall of Fame regardless of what some critics think of his management style.
