Absolutely incredible voice at the American Idols Live concert!

Wow! I saw Scott at the Cleveland American Idols Live concert. He was awesome, especially his duet with Jessica Sierra on Total Eclipse of the Heart... turn around bright eyes... incredible!

Creepy. Completely lacking in humility.

His rating for me has dropped DRAMATICALLY since I first posted. Like I said, I thought he had potential, but his attitude covers up the talent he may have in there somewhere. I have no problem with the way he looks. I could care less, but the attitude! Good grief!! Stop trying to be a cool, rapper from da hood boi! It doesn't suit you at all. I think he looks better when he tries to dress up, in like a suit or whatever. HE actually looks decent like that. Notthe best vocals by far, but he is still better than a lot of people I know.

the only reason he lasted so long was because votefortheworst.com was supporting him. he was one of the less talented finalists and should not have outlasted as many great contestants as he did.

A decent singer and I hope the big man does well, go on Scotty

Scott is what I would call an average contestant, nothing special and definitely not better than some of the ones who have been eliminated recently. I have to agree with tboneya and Helmut, he is not the most personable individual I've seen on the American Idol seasons 1-4.

If Scott doesn't get eliminated next week I'm going to seriously question the sanity of the viewing audience. I'm no huge fan of Constantine, but he was WORLDS better than Scott this week. Scott picked a terrible song and his performance was one of the suckiest I've seen on Idol. His fans need to realize the're beating a dead horse.

I don't like Scott anymore. He has suddenly gone from one of the best singers in the competition to one of the worst, and has become completly full of himself and obnoxious! Boo!

I can't believe that I once thought that this evil, violent, sexist abuser was once a decent man! Okay, I'll admit, his voice is not horendous, but how can America forgive him, let alone vote for him, after the horrific things he did to his girlfriend and child?? I UTTERLY DETEST this man, and he should be dropped from Idol this instant!

I honestly cannot stand this guy. Ok his voice is aight but you need to have a good appearance too. We all no hes a pretty big guy but on top of that he wears these weird fricken clothes like thats gonna help. No style at all, doesnt have the american idol look.

SCOTT IS HORRIBLE!!!! From an ohioan!!!!!!!!! but- against all odds was definately his best. could stand to hear that again- just nothing else hes ever sang!

Hideous performances so far. Hasn't blown me away. Shouldn't be in the top 8. Needs work, however his vocals aren't terrible! He's nice.

Scott has a great voice, but his performance needs work, and his personality needs improvement. He needs a better haircut, or at least to shave that beard thing he has. If he changed his personality, it would help a lot. He has an awful ghetto mentality that really rubs viewers the wrong way too. Smile more, dammit. I think that he's lost all hope...and you see his misery when he sings. See ya pal.

Scott is a winner!!! He made it to the top 10 which is something most people just dream about. His son would be really proud of him. Regarding the news...who wouldn't fight for their child?

A good talent that impressed voters with his singing, and not by his appearance or charm. that harkens back to the days when a Cass Elliot can just sing without worrying about how good they will look in a video. he has some personality' issues, and some people won't be able to warm up to him.

Sorry Scott, you have outlasted your talent. You have a sweet, pleasant voice, however it is weak and too full of runs at the end of each line. thanks but you need to leave already.

Scott has a beautiful voice and I would love to see him win American Idol. I think it is ridiculous that people are putting so much importance on his physical apperance. Apparently he is comfortable with himself, and that's all that should matter! Just listen to him sing, then you will understand why he DESERVES to be the next american idol!

I think Scott has a great voice. Totally not one of the best in the competition but worthy of making it a couple more weeks!! It's amazing the voice that comes out of some of these people.

His voice is decent, though nothing impressive. His appearance is irrelevant. But what really strikes me about him is his personality - he really isn't a nice person at all, and showed his true colors in his first appearances on the show, when he refused to help his group or even talk to them and just practiced for himself while letting them flounder. That's the mark of a complete asshole. Yes, this is a singing competition, but I believe that being a good, considerate person should be a prerequisite for that. Compare him to, say, Anwar, who never seems to be putting on a show to deceive others, who was incredibly considerate and actually went to great lengths to help his group pull through with him and memorize their lyrics while Scott abandoned his group altogether without any provocation.The way he's acted since then just makes me despise him more, since it's obvious that he showed his true colors at first (after all, that's when he wasn't sure the clips of him would even be on the show!), whereas later is when he's been putting on the act, pretending to be a nice guy at heart despite his appearances. Well, guess what? I care nothing for appearances, but Scott's made me eternally disgusted with him for his selfish and cruel personality. The only possible explanation I can find for why he's so popular is that a lot of people haven't seen the show enough to have seen the episode where he behaved so abominably and let both his partners hanging for no reason at all. If they had, they'd surely understand what a petty and selfish person he is as well....

Scott has a very nice voice but needs to show his range more and a little more performance. Good potential.

To me, this guy is the white version of Ruben Studdard. He needs to raise the bar. UPDATE: After his performance on 3/8 I just don't see over the top talent.

Scott has a very nice voice. I tend to want to root for him.He is kind of the unlikely Idol, but he has talent. I want him to make it to the top 12 and have that chance. He is the guy who had a parent who shot him down his whole life who did not believe in him.Yet he believed enough in himself to try and make it on American Idol. Good for him.We voted for him last night.

There's just something about this guy that turns me off. No, it's not because of his weight, or because of his physical appearance in any way. He just seems like a guy that could go from being your buddy to being a total a$$hole in the blink of an eye. Nice voice, though.

We all know he is not a Brad Pitt. But we do know that his voice is remarkable. If you close your eyes you hear a very nice voice which is enjoyable. And he found his own style and it looks good on him. I hope that he will make it far. He is getting better. He did some safe performances so far.
