 | traderboy (25) 06/12/2005 | Had a friend in grade school whose brother restored two of these things. I was lucky enough to ride in the 383 (the other, a Hemi transplant, always had vapor lock problems). Flat-out smoked from a standing stop, and cornered better than it appeared it would. The interior was bare-bones dull, but if you stroked the skin obsessively enough, you'd end up with one of the sharpest-looking rides in town. No one talks about these things nowadays, but they were nasty beasts back when I was in school.
