1972-73: New York Knicks over Los Angeles Lakers (4-1) 5

The last title for New York thus far. Willis Reed was the Finals MVP again. But it was the best team ever assembled with the additons of Monroe and Lucas. Eight of the nine Knick members are in the Hall-of-Fame. That '73 Knick team was the first team ever to beat two 60 win clubs in the playoffs (Boston and LA). The Bulls of the 1990's were the only ones to do it since.
