03/03/2007 | A large portion, fortunately not a majority, of Americans are crypto-royalists. How else do you explain the Princess Diana phenomenon and before that Grace Kelly, etc. We have no royal family, so this faction latches on to celebrities. Since celebrities come and go, the royalist faction floats from one celebrity to another. The media mirror that choice and serve up all the bunk that the American royalist faction can swallow. That is the only way I can explain the persistence in this personality who has no talent whatsoever.

And if it wasn't for her vast inheritance (or her ability to lie on her back as HelloKittyKat keenly points out), Hilton would probably be the typical, run-of-the-mill floozy! Paris Hilton is typical of those who are famous- and yet contributes nothing positive to society.

This gal is the most untalented person on earth, and she is not even a GOOD person, ie understanding of the poor and less fortunate--blame her parents for that!
Just hang in there guys, if you have a dime or two in your pockets, she will eventually work her way around to you too!!

06/01/2005 | I saw her on some talk show the other day. She described her occupation as a personality. Fail to see how she makes that claim. How does she get airtime? Not funny, entertaining, charming, etc. She looked like she was on drugs at the time. Really, all you can do is feel sorry for this girl because even though she's having fun and a blast, when she gets older at looks back at her life and there's nothing to look back on except for extreme partying and a lot of sex and drugs, what's she got? Just terrible. It's sad that a culture such at the U.S.'s idolizes her.
