I had heard that Hitch was funny for the first 15 minutes and then dragged, but I thought it was funny throughout. It was a typically cheesy romantic comedy, but thats what a viewer needs to expect from a movie like this. It wasn't a great movie, but Will Smith and Kevin James were great in their roles and Eva Mendes looked amazing throughout.
