 | Bob Anthony (0) 12/31/2005 | I've had the pleasure of seeing Dino Danelli perform since 1965 at the Choo-Choo Club in Garfield, NJ. As a former musician (saxophone & keyboards) and a die hard Rascals fan, I can attest to the fact the Dino is the "God Father" of all drummers and still is the most talented drummer I have ever seen and I'm now 57 years old. My New Years Wish is to see Felix, Eddie, Gene, and Dino resolve their differences, get a record deal, and go back to their kick ass roots as the Greatest Rock & Roll Band that ever set foot on a stage.

 | Bob Resch (0) 04/23/2005 | Dino was the rhythmic heart and soul of the Young Rascals in the 60's when the worldwide music explosion erupted.
The Rascals were right in step with the Beatles when it came to writing and performing. I always thought that Ringo was good, but Dino always played cooler parts and was way more entertaning on stage. His latino flavor on Good Lovin', the shuffle for You Better Run, the jazz tendencies on A Girl Like You, the funky, rockin' soul of Come On
Up. Dino consistently displayed his genius for syncopated grooves and fills that always seem to fit and lift the song to new heights.
The Rascals were phenomonal on stage and rocked the Ed Sullivan Show numerous times capturing the hearts and minds of music lovers worldwide. Dino with his stick twirling, head bobbing to the rhythm, insanely cool looks as he would stand up to thump the bass drum.
Dino made it look sooooo easy!!!
One of my all time favorites.
