Apple has a winner with its retail stores and the SF store opened to much fanfare and lines that stretched for blocks. The staff is great, helpful when not overwhelmed, the place can get crowded, but to those of us who remember the lean pre-iMac and pre-iPod years, it is great to see people recognize Apple changes lives, it empowers lives.
