12/30/2005 | Mirabal's music is the most positive and original among tribal performers. It is his voice alone, not some excuse for pleasing white people or getting in his politics.He has honor and beauty and poise and cares about the children and elders of his pueblo with all his heart. He also sounds sometimes disappointed with his people in their attitude towards him and that sadness comes through as well when he talks his stories.
