 | Katrinabena (17) 07/05/2008 | My first love in music was pop music. Most people remember Lauper's cheesy stuff like Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. Actually her more recent work is more mature sounding and she is a great singer live.

 | shoeck (0) 12/11/2005 | Cyndi Lauper is one of the most gifted singers of this generation. I've seen her opening for Cher, I was shocked to see this little woman with such of powerful voice. At the end of her opening, the whole audience was amazed. The ovation she received was well deserved!!!

 | souljunkie (20) 03/15/2005 | I do believe the talent and definitely the clear power is there. But its wasted talent on the ridiculous genre/gimmick that she chose to fill.

 | OrangeCharlie (5) 03/13/2005 | Cyndi Lauper's records do not do her justice. This woman has a phonemonal voice that just keeps getting BETTER with age. Yes, she still makes records but prefers to live outside of all the craziness of superstardom. I've seen her live a few times and she shined the most at The Stone Pony, a small bar in Asbury Park, NJ. Even the rowdy drunks stood there in awe.
