The Yankees need to win Game 5 tonight, against the Angels. I think it will be another pitcher's duel with Mussina pitching. Canoe has truly surprised many people including his manager. Not quite the rookie Derek Jeter was, but he expresses great potential and skill. I think the Yanks will have a tough time against the White Sox's but should take it in 6 games. I'm a die-hard Yankee fan and I will not give up on this team's chances. I've always believed we could win every year and this season is no different. ... To you baseball historians/Yankee haters, did you know that the Yankees haven't won a championship under a GOP administration since Eisenhower (1958). That's a long time. The good news for you is that they might not win this decade. Besides, the Yankee farm system is depleted. We're spending gazillions on player's past their primes.

Never underestimate the Yankees, who I thought would do worse last year than they did. However, I still don't think they will win the World Series this year because even with the Big Unit, their depth at pitching is worse than it has been in a long while. I think they will probably win the AL East again, but will get beat in a 7 game series again by a hot team.
