The Astros surprised me and have put themselves in a good position to win the World Series this year. Clemens and Petitte have been great during the final portion of the year and should help them immensely in the next few weeks. In the Braves series, the Astros' hitting was timely, and they should have a good chance of knocking off the Cardinals if they play them the same way they did Atlanta.

The astros are a team that really does have great potential. They actually have a power line-up believe it or not, but they just are not totally believing in theirselves just yet. Give it a year or two and they'll be there or heck it may just be this year.....

They were on win short of the Fall Classic. Now that they've signed Lance Berkman long-term, they've got a shot. But it all comes down to pitching. Will Clemens and Pettitte remain healthy this year?
