The most heart. The greatest coach. No name players. No name school. Sweetest upset, What college sports should be about.

PBeav, you will have to think about that as the Catamounts have their point guards to help them stay in the game. It will be a good challenge for Syracuse, but they will lose if ODU doesn't upset Michigan State. > Ah, come on now PBeav, now you have to eat your words like they are wood. Now that we saw this miraculous win over Syracuse, they may have some shot at a 16! It certainly was a big game for not only UVermont, but the America East Confernce too. >>After that loss, I wish the coach well. He was the most valuable coach in Vermont's history and helped it be on college basketball's map.

You gotta love the Catamounts, stoning the mighty 'Cuse. I guess the RPI knew something. I'm so happy because every ESPN Talking Head screamed that Vermont was a fraud. Eat Truck Stop rest room floor sweepings ESPN Heads.

They're not going to win any championship, but if coppenrath and sorentine have big games, they could upset Syracuse. UPDATE: See what I mean? Not enough people have even heard of Vermont, so they're not given credit. But they're a pretty good team. Now we have the first major upset of the tourney thanks to them. Let's see what else they have up their sleeve....

Look for G-Mac to have a great 2nd half after Pace carries the Orange to a big half-time lead.

I would like to see them get at least one win in the Toury, but I feel there tournement will be short lived.

Taylor Coppenrath is a big guy who can score, and Vermont has decent but not great guards. If a couple of their supporting players get hot, they could spark an upset or two.
