It is THE BEST! I love the Colombian, and some of the others too. My home-brewed Eight O'Clock coffee tastes better than any coffee house, period.

8 o'clock is the best value we've found. We also buy the whole bean and grind to use. We also agree starbuck's has a burnt flavor.

I drive out of my way to the only store I know that sells Eight O'Clock Columbian beans. It brews up a rich, full-bodied cup with a slightly sweet edge and absolutely no bitterness. The price has gone up considerably in the last two years and the availabliltiy has gone down. About half the time I drive out of my way to pick up a bag, there are none available and I won't buy the other varieties. Be careful not to get stuck with a bag of the Original! It's not even close. I never bother with any flavored coffees.

I've been drinking coffee for 50 years all over the planet. My favorite is from the island of Sulawesi In Indonesia. It's name is Kalosi Toraja. It was a Dutch gourmet coffee. A very close second is what looks like a generic brand. It used to only come in a red package and it is 8 o'Clock Bean. I prefer the Columbian whole bean variety which comes in a flavor lock 13 oz. bag. Pricing was around $3.00/bag although it seems to have just gone through a price hike. I just saw it today at the local supermarket chain for $4.29. Still worth the money.

Eight O'Clock coffee tastes just as rich as any coffeehouse cup of coffee. Very good rich flavor. Tastes even better than Starbuck's, because it doesnt taste burnt.

This is the best coffee I have found. It is a nice roast, consistent, and flavorful. Also, the best value.

An outstanding supermarket coffee. I like to buy the whole bean variety and grind it fresh. It has a deep, rich flavor, but not bitter. Great for breakfast, dessert or after dinner.

8 o'clock is perhaps the best coffee one can find in the grocery store. It has a strong, rich flavor and, if made correctly, can rival any store in a great cup of coffee.
