Got bullied by a weak Michigan State team that Carolina crushed. They played hard all year .........................but in vain. They still has a pretty good year though. Besides getting man handled by 3 teams that we crushed by 20. As for you, '919', if I don't respond to something you think you discussed, it's because you didn't really say anything. What the hell does that even mean? You are aware that recruiting classes are a year by year thing, right? And also, you don't seem to understand what kind of program we are. Their tough test is if they do face Oklahoma if they are able to go past Kentucky, but they are going to be a guaranteed contender for the Austin region. Can't count them out, and they have more than enough ability to go all the way, but they're by no means a sure thing. A lot of talent, but I'm not sure the chemistry's right. UPDATE: Schooled by Michigan State. Didn't play like they wanted it.

a duke fan all my life, they're my pick to take it all the way. but now let me tell you why in an attempt at trying to be unbiased. Redick is obviously an amazing player (who is versatile as seen when he had to take over point guard when ewing and nelson fouled out in the gtech game) ACC player of the year adn canidate for National Player of the year, he's golden. Ewing is one of the most underestimated players in the country. He's a team player, even if hes not taking all the shots he's distributing the ball well and knows how to drive to the basket. Sheldon Williams is a beast around the basket with his rejections and rebounds. We can count on these jr and sr players not to make the rookie mistakes that might plague younger teams. Melchioni Nelson and Randolph are all playing better and better as the seasons progresses. And Sean Dockery should be coming back, he's great defenesivily, gives duke another ball handler, and is incredibly fast. Not to mention Coach K, a seasoned pro with the NCAA tournament. So yes, duke all the way! also, am i the only one who thinks its obnoxious when people type dook as some kind of insult UPDATE*** in response to the people that have been saying that duke has been playing poorly thus far, there is some truth to that. Duke is definitly capable at performing at a higher level. But i will say this, Duke has a tendenancy to play down to their opponent and come out with the win. They arent a team that does a lot of blowouts, its not their style. Part of the reason duke is so interesting to watch is most games are close, and nearly all are won by them.

Duke is terrible when Redick is terrible, which isn't often, but they have no chance against Syracuse in the Elite Eight.

i pick duke to be in the final four along with illinois, wake forest, and i just haven't made up my mind about who's gonna survive the syracuse region. maybe florida, maybe even wisconsin (hey, nobody expected georgia tech to get there last year, did they?), but probably carolina. GO DUKE!

They have the kind of mental toughness it takes to win all 6 games. They also have the advantage of Coach K striking fear in the hearts of many refs. But, it takes 6 solid performances defensively and at least two lucky breaks late in different games. With so many good teams in their bracket (as with all brackets) they're no sure thing, but they're close.

They will make it as far as the Elite 8 in the Austin Regional then will lose to ethier Kentucky or Oklahoma.

Duke is amazing, no doubt about it. I have loved the team ever since I was little. Redick is a wonderful shooter all around, Willams is a great at shot blocking and defense, Ewing is just a rock, Melchionni has been stepping it up with his 3's, Randolph is alright at D, and a lot of the bench has been stepping up too (McClure, Nelson). I think that they will make it at least to the final four, if not more.

Duke is Duke. They're on TV more than Leave it to Beaver. I think it is plausible to have 3 ACC teams in the Final 4. But Duke is peaking late ans is in a class by themselves. If Duke goes out early, my brackets are guano.

When you have Williams and Reddick and are coached by Coach K you always have a shot to run the table.This coming from a huge UNC fan.

Reddick is an amazing shooter, Ewing is just a tough player, and Williams can take over a game if the refs are calling things his way, but that is about it for Duke. They don't have the depth of other good teams, and if they get in foul trouble, I don't see their bench being able to bail them out.
