I will not be rooting for them as they sometimes cheat and play dirty. They have shown that they need Chris Paul and Justin Gray. Without them they will choke. We all know that this was a fantastic team with an amazing amount of talent. Though not a wake forest fan at all myself, due mostly to chris paul and his attitude, i can't help but feel sorry for senior taron downey. He did everything he possibly could to make this team advance and unfortunately he couldn't do it alone, with gray and paul sitting on the bench. 27 points off of 6 three pointers, the majority of them being the definition of clutch.

Every year I buy into the Wake Forest mystique and every year my brackets implode thanks to the Dorkin' Demons. How do you lose to a team with players with last names like Pittsnoggle. Howard Cosell used to lambast John Chaney and Temple for squandering talent and never getting into the Final 4. But even with Tim Duncan, Randolph Childress, Rodney Rogers, Chris Paul, et. al., Wake Forest seems to always come way short year in and year out.

If they win it all I am taking Mad Hatters money in our pool.

I dont think wake can win the whole thing, but i think they can go very far. But Chris Paul is going to need to carry them, and i'm going to have to wait and see if he can handle it. As far as getting to the final four, their road is less challeging than that of a lot of other teams.

If they can beat Gonzaga, they will make it to the Final Four but I don't see them making it further than that.

If Chris Paul can compose himself, than Wake should have a great chance in the NCAA tournament. They showed in the ACC's that they are not the same type of team without him, but when he is running the show, all their weapons on offense are able to flourish.
