I think they will have a tough time agaist the Arizona Wildcats and the Illinois Fighting Illini, but if they pull off those victories, I think they will go all the way. I am swaying between them and Illinois. Both these Orange teams are likely to be the champions of their bracket, but this one will be stopped at the Elite 8 if they do not sink their threes. > A good win, but a little too close. [Update] In an act of poetic justice, the Cowboys lost the same exact way that they beat St. Joe's last year. That pretty much collapsed the rest of my brackets. This might have been Eddie Sutton's last shot. [Original Post] Last year I hated them for ripping Philly's heart out in beating St. Joes. I ranted: A small Jesuit school beaten by a big-money corrupt program made up of JUCOs and transfers. Then I recalled the horrible tragedy of OKLA State where most of the team perished in a plane crash. Now I am kin of rooting for them. They are a very good and very dangerous team.

Experienced team, but don't have quite enough to win it all. May not even make the Final Four.

I wish so much they could win it all! However, I doubt they will even come close. Congratulations anyway to Eddie Sutton & the Cowboys for winning the Big 12 tournament - again.

I have no doubt they'll make it to Saint Louis. And they may end up beating Illinois. Personally, I think Ok. State would have gone undefeated if they were in the big 10. I have them losing to UNC in the finals.

I think Oklahoma St. is one of the deepest teams in the country, and I think there is no other team that they can't beat when they are playing well. Oak State wouldn't be a bad choice to go to the Final 4 at all.
