Saying this team deserves a no. 1 seed is like saying that Lakers are the current best team in the NBA. I have to say that they have beat a few good teams in the regular season. BUT, Look at their losses.

Nate Robinson will be able to carry the Huskies to the elite eight. After that, however, the weight will become unbearable.

I really dont think they deserve the number one seed and don't think they'll will make it to the final four. Wake is my pick, though i'm hoping for a georgia tech upset. On the other hand, i think Washington is hearing all the doubters and that will motivate them even further to try to prove everyone wrong.

Being a #1 seed is a big advantage because you are always playing the weakest seed standing. They'll need it. After beating Montana, they'll most likely play Pitt. If they escape that game, Ga. Tech or Louisville await. Wake Forest is no picnic either. Rough road ahead.

If Pacific or Pittsburgh don't get them, Louisville will. They are #1 in the Albuquerque Division only because they got lucky in the Pac-10 Championship game against the Wilcats.
