Dudes: You can all tear up your brackets now. Ever since Syracuse went Coastal Elite Liberal PC and renamed the team from Orangmen to The Orange, all their programs went down the crapper. Serves them right.

If G-Mac is hitting 3's in the last 6 minutes, they win. If he's cold, or well defended, they're toast, no matter how well the rest play, including Warrick. UPDATE: The highest seed to be upset in the first round, for about an hour. (Enter: Kansas) Still a big upset. If G-Mac can't shoot and Warrick can't hold on to the ball, don't expect anybody else to step up. Are you sure that the only defensive option was the 2-3 zone? For a run/gun team who has vastly more athletic players, turnovers feed the beast and the zone yielded very few. It was the wrong pace for Syracuse and Boeheim sat on his hands until it was too late. The NBA-range 3 was the clutch shot of the tournament.

If Warrick has a monster tourney, Syracuse may win it all again. If he doesn't, Vermont might upset them. UPDATE: I told you this would happen! Syracuse lost because Warrick lost all those balls and didn't make enough shots. It all hinged on his performance.

They can go as far as the Top 32 at least but they are capable to go to the Final 4. There are many possiblities for ths team depending on how they play in each game. > YEOUCH!! :) Another stunner! I had for a fact saw some of that game and I figured that there would be an upset there as the Orange went too fast in the beginning of the game. They ran out of gas! People, how confident were you that this team would go all the way? Please! Tell me!

i agree that duke will take syracuse out. but i feel like they got hosed with that ranking. kentucky and syracuse should be switched so they'd at least get to the elite eight.

I say Elite 8. Yes they have a lot of experience, but you have to give a look to all of the other great teams out there. This year is a pretty good year for basketball.

The sweet 16, or the Elite 8 if there lucky. Duke, Oklahoma, or Kentcuky will stop them.

No Carmello this year, but Warrick and McNamara provide a whole lot of experience and talent. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they managed to win it all again, especially since they seem to be on a streak coming out of the Big East tournament.

'Cuse may be headed back to the final four this year. They have a great draw, are playing dominating basketball, and have two absolute studs in McNamara and Warrick.
