I have this series recorded on tape because I went to all 5 games. Tim McCarver called it a blatant act. When Rocket threw that shattered bat, it took away the enthusiasm from the NY crowd. It was more of an embarrassing moment.

Racing fans have Dale Earnhardt, pro football had Jack Tatum and baseball has the Rocket. If you let him get under your skin, he's got you. Intimidation is a very effective intangible in every big contest.
