I've said many times that I think the Rock Hall of Fame is a shoddy, tawdry corporate joke, but I'd love to see the Fugs get in just so they could play this at the induction ceremony:That ought to cause some anus clenching....

How can anyone say that the FIRST underground rock group ever shouldn't be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame? Granted they weren't a commercial success but they paved the way for the likes of Frank Zappa and Captain Beefheart. The sheer irreverence of songs like "Slum Goddess" and "I Couldn't Get High", considering the time in which they were recorded, should merit this band's induction.
