Fine mind-bending material, but not hall-worthy. Interesting fellow though

I docked one star because of the omnipresent jug, which would be ok as flavoring for a song or two, except that why is it on EVERY song? It gets very annoying after a while, though that's the only flaw in this outfit. However, this aggregation are criminally underrated, most people haven't heard of them.Erickson was a really talented and quirky lyricist, and the Easter Everywhere record is one of the great albums of American 60's psychedelia. They haven't got a chance to get in the real Hall of Fame, but who cares about that nonsense anyway?

Fantastic Band. Combine the best of their two legit album's and you have a U.S. equivalent to PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN......They really are that good. Go download 'Slip inside this house' from the LP 'Easter Everywhere' NOW. DO IT!

Roky Erickson deserves any recognition we can give him. One of the most over-looked psychedelic artists, Roky made music from the depths of some place most of us will (hopefully) never experience.
