Theres talk about expanding the People Mover, as well as adding mass transit out to the suburbs. Its way pass time to do this. Don't know where the moneys gonna come from.

...way too little,way too late.The People Mover circles through a small area in downtown Detroit,which has the worst mass transit system in the country(the city's bus drivers just went on a day strike to get police protection on city busses).

Great idea of putting this people mover close to points of interest. For a tourist, this is one that everyone can take at a low price (50 cents). I know it goes in only one direction, but it is fast enough to take you anywhere downtown either way. I like its cleanliness and its chime when doors are closing. How suprising that it is this way in a somewhat depreciating city.
