Dads army was about a small unit of the home guard made up mostly of men that were to old to join the regular army. They were how ever deemed fit to be the last line of defence. I can not remember all the Characters name but Captain Manoring was their commander. His SGT who was play by John Le Measurer and a corporal who's catch phrase was they don't like it up'em. If you can imagine a bunch of older men trying to train for an invasion, it was very funny. I have not seen it played in the States but I think you can get it on DVD.
