Poor emergency handling and it is actually starting to look dated.  It also lacks four doors and only seats 4.  Not impressive.

Well, neither rating accurately describes the Element I've been driving for 18 months. The owner's manual says you can't hose out the floor, and ugly is in the eye of the beholder. The interior space, the 5 speed stick, the XM radio, and best rear seat leg room around get me where I want to go just fine. I'd buy another one, in fact, I wish I could buy the new silver one. Talk about stunning.

This is the ugliest car on the planet- besides the Scion. I guess it's cool for the surfer dudes lugging their boards to the beach but other than that it's seems pretty lame.

You can hose down the interior.
