Slow down. . .this is a recent yet powerful rivalry- but give it a few more years and then we'll rank it higher. . .

The Tom vs. Peyton thing of the last few years has been a fun matchup, but I'll side with Tom lest I meet an untimely demise...

This is one of the greatest rivalry I have ever seen between these two teams and there QBs in Manning and Brady

Bears/ Packers, BORING!!!! Browns/ Stealers BORING!!!! The last three years for these teams have been a thrill to watch and its only getting better. I too believe that the most consistent teams are the Pats and Indy; thats an inarguable fact. Hands down the not one of the best rivals our time but THE best of our time. !!!!!!!!!!GO COLTS!!!!!!!!!!

Let the Patriots hate the Colts, think about their inconsistent division, the Jets, Dolphins, and Bills. Since Buffalo (New Englands historical Rival) fell of the face of the football world its been hard for us Patriot fans to hate someone. If not Indy then who? The only other teams to mind that are worth hitting the bar for are Oakland and Pittsburgh, two teams with bad blood towards the Pats. I agree the Colts/Patriots game is a must see and the best rivalry of our time. Go Patriots!!!!

Ok I agree; no history, not too too much blood, yet, but these are the most consistent and best coached teams in the NFL. They arent in the same division, however they are in the same conference and they play annually (and by the looks of it they well play again in the post season). The Raiders san diago rivalry is burnt up and pathetic to watch, Dallas and Washington arent consistent enough to be a competitive rivalry (Washington swept Dallas) its apparent that other than the Super Bowl the New England Indianapolis game is the best-scheduled game of our time other than the Super Bowl.

This is a rivalry that lacks much history. It has started to build recently with Manning's inability to beat the Patriots and New England's team success overcoming Peyton and Harrison's personal achievements. This may be a rivalry that grows over time, but with the Colts and Patriots in different divisions, I don't think it will ever be one of the greatest in the NFL.

Great matchups over the last few years.

I've been able to see both sides of this rivalry up close, as I lived in Boston for almost all of my life and now live in Indianapolis. It's certainly heated up over the past few years, though it doesn't really have the intensity or hate that some rivalries have. It was a huge deal around here when the Colts beat the Patriots early this year. A burgeoning, but not yet classic rivalry.

Has emerged as a great rivalry. Two huge playoff games played between these two in the last two years have established Manning vs. Belichick and the New England defense as one of the NFL's top rivalries.
