ItemImageAl Kooper, by rights, should be regarded as one of the giants of '60s rock, not far behind the likes of Bob Dylan and Paul Simon in importance. He's done it all, played keyborads on "Like a Rolling Stone" or Dylan, produced and played in early Blood Sweat & Tears, worked with international artists, but just won't be enough, in the end.

There is from time to time a "Sidemen" categorey is included in the inductions and Kooper's work with Dylan, Mike Bloomfield, The Blues Project, BS&T and Lynrd Skynrd would definately qualify him.

He did it all. Sang in a group that should be in, played on hall member's albums, discovered, tutored, and produced one of the greatest rock bands of all time.

Oh, man I love "Billion Dollar Babies", Alice Coop...oh wait. Al Kopper? Blood, Sweat & Tears, His keyboard work on Dylan's landmark "Like a Rolling Stone" is considered to be one of the finest moments in rock and roll history though. But I'll pass.
