It's not just a matter of hit records. Johnny Maestro was the lead singer of The Crests ("16 Candles"), one of the first integrated doo wop groups in the 1950's. He is one of very few lead singers who had great success with two different groups in two different decades. The Brooklyn Bridge ("The Worst That Could Happen") was the first jazz-rock group to combine a vocal group with a horn section. Johnny Maestro has remained a big concert draw with fans for over fifty years. The Brooklyn Bridge has four original members who have been together for forty years (Johnny Maestro, Fred Ferrara, Les Cauchi and Jim Rosica). Johnny Maestro certainly does deserve to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. If it were up to his fans, it would have happened many years ago. Bravo Maestro!

Johnny Maestro, at 68 years of age, is still performing across the country with The Brooklyn Bridge to packed theaters and venues. His songs are known by almost everyone, even if they don't know his name. And his voice is as strong and awesome as it always has been. He and the Brooklyn Bridge will soon hopefully receive the recognition they so very much deserve by being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.

One of the finest voices in the history of pop music. "Worst that Could Happen" is an all time classic, like "Cara Mia". But no....
