Very good rule to live your life by. The past has happened and by trying to change it you let it catch up to you and slow you down.

I've always found this phrase helpful when I start second guessing a decision that's gone south. If you keep looking back, you can't deal with life.

I love the real (and imagined) life of Satchel Paige. This is something I use on a daily basis in my professional and personal life. It can be modified to deal with enemies. . .simply ignore them. It will irritate them and you will grow in stature because you don't engage in useless conflict. (Sort of the way I deal with my hate e-mail) Anyways, the legend of Satch is a must-read.
