I suppose it has to do with UFO's. Have you ever wondered how these ships can cross trackless space--many light years or even parsecs-- and then when they get here, they run around with all the lights turned on like they can't see where they are going. Maybe they get drunk here on Terra.

The History Channel is turning into the UFO Channel. Sad.

Like a lot of nonsense, endlessly fascinating even to some otherwise sensible people.  I laugh at this stuff, but give me an hour on UFOs on the History Channel and I'll probably watch it too.

I've never heard of this but I suspect it's some kind of scandinavian thing mysteriously derived from the expression Uff dah.
