Looking to be a bit past midseason. Bonds still has minimal swelling in his knee and will be getting off antibiotics over the next couple weeks. He has been playing catch and swinging the bat recently. When he does come back, I'll be buying outfield tickets to every home game - he's not far from Ruth's 714, and you know that ball will sell for around a mill.

if at all. Bonds will return around mid-season with enough in him to break Ruth's record, and then he'll retire. that's my prediciton. he's made enough racist comments about ruth and white people that surpassing this record will be a final boost to his ego. he will not pass Aaron b/c he'd not THAT bold to do it when the world knows he was/is chemically enhanced.
