Even though Max Zaslofsky only played three years
wih the NY Knicks,He helped bring them to the NBA finals from 1950-1953,and I believe in two out of three the Knicks went down to the final game.He was a great impact player, and a real hometown favorite. His carreer spanned 10 years from 1946=1950.He was a four time all NBA first team selection, the youngest player in history to do so,an honor he held for 40 years until Lebron James recently broke that record. He was the first guard to lead the NBA in scoring in 1948.An allstar in 1952.And the great majority of his carreer was played prior to the 24 second clock, and also most of his carreer was played prior to the NBA all star games began.
