01/08/2006 | I like this one, though she was making fun of the latin expression "cogito ergo sum" meaning, "I think, therefore, I am. " She was a really looney, though admitedly brilliant, liberal. She is the originator of the phrase that cost Bill Maher his show on ABC when he plagiarized her without giving credit to her, saying, "say what you want about the perpetrators of 9-11, but they were not cowards. " Susan said essentially the same thing, much more eloquently but equally inflammatorily, in late September, 2001.
