Very creepy and unsettling: a little boy talking on his toy telephone with his recently deceased grandmother, who wants him to come be with her. Scary!!!

Very chilling and an episode not soon forgotten. The use of a toy to instill terror is very good.

One of the more chilling episodes, along with "night call". Billy asking his Grandma "Is it cold there?" was particularly haunting. The part towards the end where Sylvia hears Grandma for herself is classic.

good story, but it was one of those filmed on videotape to save money and it looks like an old soap opera.

I remember this one even though I was a little kid. I swear I hated the sound of the phone ringing after watching that show.

a 4.5. billy mumy plays a little 5 year old boy. he is very close to his grandmother. she buys him a toy telephone for his birthday. She dies soon after. he grieves for his grandma. soon he starts talking on his toy phone claiming he is talking to his grandma. He starts acting strange even suicidal.He says he grandma wants him. Soon the mother grabs the phone and hears breathing on the toy phone. the boy tries suicide again. This time almost succeeding. the dad gets on the toy phone and pleads to allow the boy to live and have a full life.

A morbid little ghost story, very effectively done. As with most of the best of the series, it is very understated, which makes it all the more intriguing.
