In the episode Rod Serling said by the year 2000 it would be like that, maybe in some ways he wasn't far from the truth

I see this story differently then the rest of you..I often wish the world could be like this, then everyone would be equal. We would all be treated the same and no would be called ugly.

I think the episode and the story Beautiful People was pretty weird because mostly every body in the story would be same and how people would be always be happy, never sleep and no eating that is just scary. It would be just better my self if that will be safe.So I realy dont agree with Nikita.and yes i do agree with Dora about it was scary and there was meaning to the episode and the story. so that what i think about Beautiful People.

What is truly scary is that our society is moving into this mindset. Everybody wants to look like someone else they consider more attractive than themselves. There is more importance put on outward appearance than ever before. You would be hard pressed to find a young girl that would reject this transformation these days.

"Eye of the beholder" was an extremely tough act to follow, but this episode managed to do quite well in its own right. The clencher here was the plain girl's reaction to her "transformation" after it happened.

Boy, would this one not be made in today's consumer-oriented appearance-is-everything society!

I think that I always change my look so this would be scary. Who wants to be perfect you can't Be perfect ever but you can be as nice as you can and look your best.

The first supermodel Suzy Parker and Richard Long from the Big Valley are well cast as the models whom everyone gets made to look like. I wish I looked like Suzy Parker. I look more like Lulu Roman.

I first saw this one in the late 1980s when I was only about ten or eleven years old and I remember being fascinated by a future where everyone might look the same. One of my favorites.

A chilling episode, that falls just short of being one of the great episodes. Suzy Parker's portrayal of all of the female adults is amusing, and Collin Wilcox in the lead role is excellent.
