not one of the better episodes. McNulty was a boring guy who seemed to annoy others. he gets this stopwatch that is magical and can stop time, people, objects etc. with the click of the button. he finds it fun at first. and plays jokes on others. he decides to go into a bank, stop everything and take a load of money and leave. he gets the money and everyone is frozen but then the stopwatch falls and is broken. now everyone is frozen.i am supposed to believe that he will spend the rest of his life with on one to talk to. I tend to wonder, why doen't he just go to the next town? yeah right, the whole world is frozen. before he was just stopping who was around him. couldn't he just go on to the next town. { yeah, I know it is just a tv show and i am not supposed to wonder about that}

Sheesh, talk about your harsh penalties. I sort of liked the McNulty character, but he defintely gets some of the stiffest discipline ever offered in the Twilight Zone. I wonder if they intended for him to age or not after that last time freeze when he broke the stopwatch. Imagine being frozen in time forever.....Yikes. Had to give it four stars for that ending alone.

Neither McNulty (the main character) nor the background music annoy me as much as they used to. Somewhat entertaining for me, but not a particularly powerful, deep, frightening, or moving episode. Not hilariously funny, either, despite supposedly being a comedy. Anyway, that's the way I see it. Some of the scenes chosen for McNulty to freeze are pretty bizarre.

A flat and uninteresting episode, full of unintesting people doing uninteresting things.
