Actually, John Lennon had nothing to do with this song. He only gets credited as a writer due to the agreement they had. George Martin is the one who suggested just Paul on the piano with a string arrangement. Curiously, it was not issued as a single in the U.K. as it was only an album cut on the HELP! LP. In the U.S., a whole album was created around this song.
