a 3.5. interesting episode two astronauts crash on a different planet. they had argued how different or the same beings could be on different planets. the other astronaut dies but Roddy McDowalls live. he is found by some of the beings on this planet and they seem to look like us earthlings can even communicate they even take him to a place to stay that looks much like a home would be on earth........and then there is the ending. and Mcdowall's character says sadly "you are right people are alike all over" rings a bit true when you think of how us earthlings may react to a visitor from another planet.

I actually found the ending to this one one of the more shocking. I really liked Roddy McDowall's character here, so that makes the ending have even more impact for me. I like how they have the much more nervous astrounaut (McDowall) have to be the one who has to face the martians.

I thought this was a great episode. A bit simplistic, but quite a twist at the end.

If something seems too good to be true then it probably is. Enjoyable and amusing episode... even if you do see the conclusion coming from a mile off.

An ironic little tale, but a bit pedestrian and predictable.
