Gave up a lot of homers but hardly walked anyone. Routinely won 20 or more every year from '67 to '72 in Wrigley, which is pretty impressive, even though The Cubs actually were a good team in that era. Won 25 in '74 with Texas, and had some good if not great years after that. Also played for the Red Sox in '76/77, and is rather easily the greatest Canadian pitcher of all time, and I think the only Canadian player in the HOF. Doesn't get talked about much anymore, but a terrific hurler, though not one of the top 92 players ever. The very first pack of cards I bought had a card of Jenkins on the Red Sox.

All that and he hit for power.

Fergie Jenkins was a wonderful pitcher on some horrendous teams. Imagine what he could have been with a defense behind him and an offense in front of him.
