Light and refreshing, Woodpecker is a great British cider.  .

Nice light flavor. Does not hyjack your mouth. great on a hot or cold day. a bit on the pricey side of things. Nice that it is on tap.

Most hard cider is too sweet. This is an adult brew. It stil has that apple taste, but it doesn't seem like something a three-year old wouldn't mine, either. Woodpecker's is dry, crisp and ideal for the Guinness drinker who realizes that the mercury has moved too far up to make his/her pint enjoyable. You simply can't go wrong. Stay away from Cider Jack. That stuff is no compariaon. Also makes a good snakebite, but find all on its own, which is not something that cna be said for cider in general.

Grand stuff, great rich taste, not as strong as the Bow, once new a man who drank 50 pints of Woodpecker a day, great as a laxative also!!!!!!.

Great taste. Less filling. No bite, excellent aftertaste. It is too expensive.

I first had this in England about 7 years ago and I did not really know what I was getting myself into. I found out that I cannot drink as many pints of hard cider as I can beer and walk straight and talk without a slur. Cider is not my drink of choice when I go out, but this is the stand by if I were to order one.

probably the first hard cider I've ever had and still one of my favorites (if I can get it). Perfect for blending with a Guiness.
