Very strong indeed, but that's because they cut their tea leaves like coffee, into tiny grains rather than full leaves. The leaves themselves are of low quality, like most British tea, which usually presumes that the consumer will add a lot of milk and sugar to it, so the taste doesn't really matter. The regal trappings on the box can't conceal the fact that this is actually not much better than Bigelow.

The best tea ever! Try "Yorkshire Gold" for a full-flavoured cuppa. I like their "Christmas Spice" tea all year round.

Love their Yorkshire tea..may be a bit strong for some, and I don't drink it every day, but it is a welcome change! Not to mention, the unique packaging and fairly reasonable prices.

I just had some of their Yorkshire Gold which won some award and found it to be very dull.

Very good teas but actually a littel strong for my tastes especially their Tippy Assam tea, very strong and lots of caffeine.
