There are many brands of tea that are better... but I must say it is 5,000 times better than Lipton.

They market one of my favorite teas, Constant Comment, but the rest of it has so little flavor that you can actually taste the paper bag. Among the cheaper teas, Lipton beats Bigelow by a long shot. The worst tea company out there.

I have always liked Constant Comment and Lemon Lift but Bigelow is not my first choice  in teas. They are decent tasting teas, none have ever had the disagreeable musty flavor and smell of Liptons, but they just can't hold up to a lot of the newer (and even  some of the older) brands on the market.

I received a gift basket of Bigelow Tea and biscuits. After our kids opened their presents on Xmas morning, my husband and I decided to have a leisurely, relaxing time and tried the Bigelow Tea. My God, it was awful! I had to brush my teeth again just to remove the after-taste! I definitely do not recommend the Bigelow Tea! I prefer the well-known, traditional tea like Tetley or Lipton teas. At least with them, I know tea will taste like tea not some crazy ill-invention! I prefer not being a guinnea-pig experiment for Bigelow products. Obviously, they have not conducted their focus group or market /product research thoroughly. Or are they too cheap to test their products before mass distribution?

Bigelow tea sucks!!! They don't know anything about making tea. What they do is come up with "chemical" flavors they purchased from Firmanich and they then market it as tea. They suck big time! don't waste your money instead try to find how you can get great tea elsewhere via friends from India, china etc who can stir you in the right direction.

Their herbal teas are better than their caffeinated teas because their 'darker' teas don't have as good of a balance of flavors on the palate. It's a decent tea if that's all that is around.

Better then then Lipton. Not bad or good. I suggest you try more expensive teas, like stash and Republic of tea.

I really enjoy their peppermint herb tea. It has a nice, pleasant, minty taste and it isn't too strong or sweet. I also love their Sleepy Time tea. It's nice, soothing, and relaxing before bedtime.

Up until about 5 years ago I would have said Bigelow was probably the best of the bagged teas out there but with this movement toward more and more loose leaf tea and the companies that were primarily bagged tea try to keep up, Bigelow seems not to have changed and are blending into the background. They have a very nice Earl Grey for a quick serve but I think I prefer Stash now more than Bigelow. Sorry R.C.
