Ok Cheri Oteri is a perfect example of overacting all her characters where over the top I did enjoy however her Moring Joe "morning talk show" character Will Farrel and Cheri have great chemistry and compliment each other very well

She was good, but just sitting here now, all I can think of is her doing a Spartian cheer.

Very funny sometimes, and annoying at others. She always made me horny in that cheerleader outfit though.

Talk about anoying. I will not watch any thing with her in it. She can't act and she is not funny at all. I think you can judge a cast member by what they do after they leave the show. Especially Cheri who has done nothing, she played the same annoying character in ever bit she did. Even more annoying then Molly Shannon.

I agree with the previous poster. I know ity sounds sexist, but very few women really make me laugh. Cheri Oteri was the funniest woman in the long history of SNL, and among the funniest cast members period. I really miss her. Where the hell has she been?

Very few women are truly funny. Gracie Allen was funny and Cheri Oteri. Can't think of too many more.

Cheri Oteri is one of my favorites of the SNL alumni and I really miss her. She was not only a great comedian, but she was a great writer as well. The actors and actresses on SNL write their own skits and really have to fight hard and compete with their friends on the show to get their skits on the air. So they not only act out the skits, but they write them as well. I have seen other alumni in interviews state that the competition on the show is terrible to the point of sometimes getting ugly and backstabbing. Some state it was just too stressful for them to continue on the show. However, the majority of them have gone on to bigger and better projects and fame. They also claim that even though SNL was hard and demanding, it prepared them to move on. I do miss the Spartan Cheerleaders though. They were my favorites and so were the cone heads. Also, the fake news is another favorite. I liked it best when Colin did it. Adam Sandler was a surprise to me as well as David Spade. I never found them very funny. But, they also moved on to bigger and better things.

I agree with Megs. Love. She's the best SNL cast member ever. She is SO funny + sexy. When she was on Jiminy Glick (Comedy Central), Jiminy (Martin Short) tackled her, playfully. Cheri turned around as if she was that character on SNL that acts all sexy with her husband in public. Cheri is a beautiful spirit that absolutely throws herself into her characters. I don't know where she is now. Maybe she's starting a family.

She had so many great characters, including the cheerleader, Barbara Walters, and the talk show host. I loved the skits with her and Chris Kattan as that couple that was always all over eachother.

Oteri is so funny she's hot. Her best stuff involved sex. Remember the lewd secretary that can't make a good innuendo to John Goodman? The over-sexed couple? Her commentary of Barbie as a model of feminism? That spastic little girl who pissed people off? Remember "simmer don nah" (her all-time best) and the druggie bus driver getting her prescription filled? The bulldyke singing "I want candy"? The stupid morning talk show host? I loved her intro playing a Republican senator telling Americans how stupid they are for electing her and then proceeding to hypnotize us w/ the revolving spiral. The best cheerleader skits were w/ love Hewitt & w/ Paula Abdul * Duchovney. That stuff is classic. I really miss her.

I didn't think that she was the best, but I must admit that her departure from SNL brings down the quality of the show quite a bit. I thought that her Spartan Cheerleader skits were hilarious, not to mention her hilarious mockery of Barbara Walters.

Cheri O Teri may try hard to make people laugh on SNL, so her characters are so annoying and unfunny, that's it's hard to enjoy her when she's not on SNL. She tried Scary Movie, but she was extremly annoying in that too, and she made a total fool of herself. I personally think that most of today's SNL members are annoying.

You know, I love the cheerleaders. But I think thats more writing. I thought I loved Mary Catherine Galhiger, but than when I actually watched it-it just bored me. She seems a little tastless to me...whatver, I mean, I haven't really liked anything she has done outside of snl either...

She always makes me laugh! The way she throws herself into her characters and that quirky little camera-lovin' facial expression of hers - classic! I especially love it when she and will ferrell are paired together, as in the Spartan cheerleaders and the talkshow hosts skits. Their energy is so in-tune, I am addicted. She always seems to be having so much fun!
