 | ClassicTVFan47 (36) 09/29/2005 | Speaking as someone purely exposed to the Dustin Hoffman theatrical version...I certaintly thought about death--by boredom. This is definately one of the most flatly-constructed and presented pieces of cinema ever. Some shots last way too long...a lot of the dialgoue--which is completely devoid creativity--is mumbled and hard to understand. The plot--family strife, caused by memory loss--is so hackneyed that it feels like a C-level soapopera plot--with no camp of silliness to keep one interested. The acting and set design are also completely uncompelling.

 | Snoopy (3) 03/26/2003 | I've never seen the play, but I loved the book, so I'm sure the play is just as good. It's about Willy Loman, a down-on-his-luck salesman. Great story.
