It's like a regular corner store but with organic stuff. I have tried two times to get a salad from there but I didn't see any ingredients that I liked. And it is expensive!Sent from Jose's iPhone.

Valencia Whole Foods is a mini Trader Joe's, and even pricier. They carry a lot of the same organic, pricy, beautifully packaged stuff, if you're into that kind of thing. That being said, it's a well run little shop and they carry a lot of quality stuff. The panini bar is a great addition - I'm probably going to hit this place multiple times per week for lunch now.

In all this little natural grocery store provides pretty much one-stop shopping for most people who live in the city. The prices are quite high (hence the 4 star rating), but the quality is great on almost everything I've tried and there's a unique selection of locally produced items in addition to the standard organic brands that have more of a national presence. Their offering includes fresh produce, canned goods, dry goods, bulk items, bakery fresh bread, bagels, household cleaning supplies and pet products. They just started making panini for lunch today in addition to a fairly nice salad bar and I decided to try a vegetarian sandwich that included eggplant, roasted peppers, grilled zucchini, pesto and fresh mozzerella. It's quite delicious and I'd definitely go back to try something new.The staff is very friendly and the service is stellar.
