We went to Scala's last May when visiting SF. The food was fantastic and they have a wonderful wine list. We loved the bistro decor and the service was excellent.

Top notch - great service, great food, and in a cool, old, classic San Francisco building. Big padded booths make it the perfect location near Union Square for a business lunch.
