Although I don't particularly enjoy their sushi, We Be makes quite a delicious Udon. It's deliciously salty and they're generous with the tempura that comes with it. The price is right at $8 a bowl and comes with miso and spinach or seaweed salad, making it a great cheap dinner option in the perpetually chilly San Francisco evening.Their green tea is also excellent. They serve the more traditional and very nutty tasting variety that is a blend of toasted brown rice and green tea leaves.Their sushi is what I'd call commodity sushi. It's cheap, but you get what you pay for. Personally, I prefer to have sushi less frequently and splurge a little bit rather than settle for sub-par raw fish. Despite my opinion, it seems pretty popular with everyone else in the restaurant, so I may just be especially picky.

Good sushi, but I love their slogan "Sushi, just like Mom used to make." Actually, the irony will probably be lost on my son as my wife has learned to make great sushi.
