Very good food from a nicely ecclectic menu. Casual but attractive environment and friendly, responsive service that is non-intrusive. Seafood is what Yabbies is all about, and the tuna and cioppino dishes are my favorities, but several meat selections are available as well. Have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. Parking in the neighborhood can be a problem, but a valet service is available across the street.

Yabbies serves great, fresh seafood right on a fun stretch of Polk street. Entrees are $16-20, and I highly recommend the halibut. The place wasn't crammed in like so many San Francisco restaurants - tables were spaced out, making it a comfortable place to have dinner. Highly recommended.
