05/16/2006 | Bizarness +5, Coolness =5 Unique story line +5. I loved the turtles thing when it started, and still think it has potential, but there's always the risk that it's been done to death. LOVED THE MOVIE!!!

04/19/2005 | It just doesn't seem right to reintroduce this classic back to modern times. This one, though I watched it sometimes, is much better and the turtles are much cuter and have more personality than what they are now. This Frank Wolf regulated show makes great plots back then. I guess that the animators now wanted to duplicate the first action figures released from this series on paper but are a little dumb to not recycle the stories.

04/08/2005 | I recently picked up the first season of this, the 1980s version, and I must say that it's throughly enjoyable. The theme song and music is pure 80s, as is some of the look. The writing is good for an action cartoon, but also breaks the fourth wall on a regular basis, and is also peppered with other humorous dialogue. The tone is lighter and brighter than the 2003 cartoon from 4Kids, and I must say I prefer this one over the more modern animated interpretation.
